You can find this item at various locations through the game, sometimes hidden in optional rooms, enticing exploration.
Purpose[]
The item can be used to stick a flashlight onto a gun, letting you use both at the same time. Once the tape is used, it will be consumed and you can't get it back, even if you detach the flashlight from the gun. It's a limited resource, like ammo.
Trivia[]
In ObsCure 2, the whole flashlight mechanic was ditched, removing adhesive tape in the process. Characters automatically equip a flashlight when necessary, and just hold it with their hands instead of taping it to a gun.
